We had a pretty small crowd today and we all felt pretty laid-back. We spent our morning hanging out and playing Uno Attack. Some of us lost by several million cards. That person was me.
We also went outside for some four-way tug-of-war. This crazy feat involves four deflated inner tubes, some ropes, a few goals, and a lot of muscle. Somehow a sprinkler came into the picture and ended up with a girls vs. boys tug-of-war. The teens had fun with a round of noodle tag (really, who doesn’t love hitting another person with a large foam noodle?).
Finally, some of the teens joined Clint, artist extraordinaire, in the art room for some oil painting. A while ago, someone donated lots of really nice art equipment and materials. Clint is taking advantage of this and showing the teens how to really get into the painting.
Remember, Tuesday, July 15th’s field trip has been moved to WEDNESDAY JULY 16th! And always bring a change of clothes!
